Upper lip facial hair???

What can I use to get rid of it, w/out the product making my lip red %26amp; irritated, as I have sensitive skin. And something that will make it grow back slower, but that prob can't be changed. I'm already using Nair upper lip cream w/aloe vera in it, %26amp; that works pretty good. Any other suggetions???

get it threaded, usually it is good where there is a professional studio or where they also do eyebrows...my friends all do this and we are very young...it doesn't irritate the skin at all...nair has many chemicals which can irritate the skin

I really hope this helped even the least bit!

Happy Thanksgiving and have a good weekend!

You can try waxing it. Apply baby powder first, this makes the process less harsh on your skin.

Many women choose to bleach the hair on their upper lip. This causes it to not be so noticeable - if you have light skin.

Otherwise, I would continue using the Nair cream, since waxing will cause irritation for a little bit.

Also, you *could* shave it off, but it will keep coming back and it will come in darker.

wax it or go to a salon / college beauty school for advice at a college they can offer big discounts on this type of thing and have to have 3 yrs experience to do it

hey nair always made my skin really sore so i stop using it. i now use Superdrug moisturising sensitive hair removal cream. its a bout a 鎷?0 i think but its a 200ml bottle so last for ages. its really good and only takes 10mins.

Nair is good, or you could get it waxed. That goes red for a short while but will soon calm down. If it is red, just put some witch hazel on to soothe it. Immac / Veet (whatever they call themselves these days) also do some mini wax strips which are quite good for doing lip hair.

sugaring!\

Sugaring is an alternative to waxing and is great for sensitive skin because the stuff only sticks to hair not skin!

be careful, sugraing is very messy.

Sugaring leaves you hair-free for 3-6 weeks

its done just like waxing.

Here is a sugaring recipe:

2 C sugar

1/4 C lemon juice

1/4 C water

Combine all of the above in a saucepan.

Stir it constantly over medium- low heat until sugar turns deep brown(around 35-40 minutes). When ready, pour it into a thick plastic container. Let it cool down until warm, and spreads easy. If it cools down too much, you can put it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds.

Again, make sure it is not too hot before you apply it to the skin.

i would suggest that you either wax, or thread. Threading can be effective, and its less than 鎷?0 to get it done at a beauty salon. Some hairdressers do it too. As the hair is getting pull from the root, it should take longer to grow back, and will grow back thinner.

Laser is best and permanent and worth the money

Upper lip facial hair???

Nads - home use cold wax system - costs about 鎷?5 but does the job and is enough to use for a few months

Have you ever heard about laser permanent hair removal . You can check some details through the homepage bellow:

I know your problem , it is very annoying. Next year I will try one of those permanent hair removal, a friend of mine did last year, and the result is satisfactory.
