You can use either disposable razors or an electric razor. The benefit of the electric razor is that you don't have to keep buying new razors and you only need to replace the blades about once a year ( but the initial buy can be expensive depending on what kind of electric razor you go with)... No matter whether you go disposable or electric, make sure you never use a dull blade- that increases nicks, cuts and skin irritation.

While you can go bare bones when shaving (wet your face and shave)- using shaving cream or gel helps reduce ingrown hairs (when the hair starts to grow back but doesnt penetrate the skin, leading to zit-like bumps)... And shave in the direction of hair growth- that will also reduce ingrown hair issues...

(i realize i'm a girl- so facial hair is not exactly my realm of expertise--- but these are tips from the boyfriend... plus the links below might help.)

It wont grow back faster, thats bull.

Cheap disposable plastic razors are used for your face, just use it whenver you want. Electric are easier but more expecnive, but you use them more than once

Shaving foam will make it easier and is less liekly to irritate the skin.

Shave off that gay crustache! Used a disposable razor, unless you have hair as thick as a rainforest. I usually wet my face then shave, then put lotion on.
