Get it lasered. They do special ones for facial hair. It's permenant but can be a bit expensive. Worth looking in to though.

the most effective and most expensive treatment is lasik hair removal. but the first thing to do is visit a dermatologist and your doctor. if the hair growth has been sudden, it could be caused by a bigger problem and go away with proper medication (especially if it's hormone problems). if it's not that, there are a lot of great options your dermatologist can tell you about.

you could always get a temporary fix at the drug store, but most of the waxes etc that they sell won't work for long if they work at all.

if you pluck it and its thick then it comes back even thicker so you would have to keep up with the pluckin each day depending on how much you are getting rid of. If you are just doing the upper lip and its peach fuzz then nair or getting it waxed would be fine but again, you have to keep up with that or you end up lookin like a man. THe best and only permanent way to get rid of the unwanted hair is by laser.... its not crazy expensive and it is permanent so worth every penny. You can find places by searching the yellow pages or the Internet.

Have it sugared by a professional not expensive and safest method as the sugar is only used once not like some places that wax and reuse. Or buy the veet for faces but be sure to use a test spot before using under your nose. Sugaring is best because it takes it at the root. And you can buy a soy based moisterizer to have the hair grow back in slower. Also on the shopping channel they have a product called lazer hair removal and it comes with a cream to slow new hair growth, it's great stuff. Made by serious skin care. Good luck
