Not in my experience, shaving causes the thicking, waxing seems to cause thinning, and eventually a lot of the hairs will not grow back ...

the downside is ingrown hairs if you are not really careful with disinfecting (i use rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab) ... if you apply makeup the same day, you are likely to get clogged pores, too ...

No, in my experience you should be good for a while (up to 3wks). It depends on how coarse your hair is.

no. It only appears to be growing back thicker because you went from having nothing to having the hair again. Nothing you do to remove hair will make it grow back thicker. If that was the case no one would complain about thin hair because all they would have to do is cut it off and it would grow back thicker..

shaving it will make it grow back quicker and appear thicker, this is because the hair now has a blunt end from shaving instead of a tapered end, as it would actually grow.

Waxing will possibly do damage to the folicle, potentially preventing regrowth of the hair. (this does not happen to every hair every time - but it does happen)

yes, it does. But what i do, i wax it, then just continue plucking it when it grows back out. Its a little painful but it works. your hair will come out less thick

if you shave your facial hair or any hair for that matter it grows back thicker and faster and sometimes darker...if you wax it grows back alot slower and thinner as well and wont hurt as much the next time because the hair is thinner and there isn't as much...so i suggest going to a salon and getting it professionally done because they know what their doing...depending where the hair is on your face most places dont charge over 30$....30$ being for the whole face...

no waxing is ripping the hair out of the follicle which damages the follicle, including its nerve endings so each time it will hurt less and less, which also sends it into a sort of shock and is weaker and weaker everytime the hair has to grow back. another option than many people dont know about is something called threading. its a middeleastern hair removal technique and in the middle east the women do not like to have ANY body hair it is found extremly unatractive. try and look it up online for your area it is a service i absolutly love. my skin has never felt so soft.

I work in a beauty salon and we have many peeps coming in for there tashes to be removed!

The hair doesnt come back thicker or quicker as its removed from the root it will take some weeks to come back again but hair grows in different rates so some might come back sooner than others. It doesnt come back thinner but it does appear tho be thinner as the end is tapiered creating a smoother finer hair.

as some have said it can cause spots when make up is applied and yes in growing hairs can happen. Using tea tree lotion afterwards can help as its a anti bacterial and soothing. I would only advise facial waxing to be done professionally in a salon.

The more you wax hair the finer it will become. I don't have facial hair but I have all of my other hairy areas waxed! And they all are much finer after years and years of waxing.

Sometimes over time the follicles can become so damaged that some of them will even stop producing a hair.

it doesn't.....how could it when the hair that u see is really dead. the real stuff is under your skin a razor would have no effect on your hair but it may look it for a while
